We use every part of every tree we purchase, nothing goes to waste

Residual wood – sawdust, wood chips, saw-cut log ends and other excess timber is supplied to a local power plant, which in turn supplies electricity and heating to our factory as well as the local grid. Like other manufacturers, we consume energy to dry and process our timber, but none of the fuel we use comes from fossil-derived sources. Out of all the energy produced from our by-product, we use less than 15%.

We have a long history of zero wood waste and producing biomass energy. Ever since the early 1940s when our first boilers were installed we have been harnessing by-product from our wood flooring production for energy.
