At the outset of this school renovation, the architectural firm HED had three goals to accomplish.

  1. Select a floor system that would hold up to the bleacher seating and multi-purpose use in the auditorium,
  2. Provide a matching floor that would be ideal for dancing in the adjacent dance room
  3. Use an aesthetically beautiful product with a low lifecycle cost.

This was achieved with A Junckers Hardwood floor 7/8" Beech Harmony factory applied with a silk matte lacquer.

The wooden floor was installed on a UnoBAT 45 in the auditorium and Clip System in the adjacent dance room.

The UnoBAT 45 undercarriage system has the world’s lowest construction height for A4 high performance sports floors installed on batten constructions. UnoBAT 45 is also very easy and fast to install making it possible to keep down both costs and building time.
