Hugh Broughton Architects have specified Junckers solid hardwood flooring for the new Harley Gallery on the Welbeck Estate in Nottinghamshire. The new 890m2 gallery, set within the grounds of the existing Harley Gallery, will show changing displays of the privately owned Portland Collection.

The design reflects the historic architecture of the Estate in choice of materials, colour and scale, as well as introducing a sense of light and space. Junckers’ Single stave Blocks parquet flooring was installed to add natural warmth and beauty, to compliment the dramatic space. Durable and easy to maintain, Junckers’ FSC® and PEFC certified solid wood floors are the ideal choice for public buildings.
